# ProtoVice: Protomon Network

ProtoVice is a fan-made Android virtual pet project built around one main idea:

**A partner device, not a punishment device.**

I love classic monster-raising devices, but I always wanted one that felt more like a companion and less like something that punishes you for having work, sleep, school, or a life.

So I started building ProtoVice: an Android virtual pet app inspired by the feeling of carrying a small partner device with you.

## What you do

Raise a digital partner, care for it, train it, battle, scan, collect, unlock evolutions, and build your own little Protomon journey.

ProtoVice currently includes:

- Feeding, healing, sleeping, cleaning, and care

- Partner personality and stat growth

- Evolution routes and care-based outcomes

- Retro, Retro Color, and Cyber visual modes

- Training mini-games with animations and bonus chances

- Battles with attacks, blocking, status effects, and counterattacks

- Scanner rewards

- Cards, artifacts, achievements, and story mode

- DigiFarm / Monster Island-style passive systems

- Patch notes and update notices

- Optional companion apps like ProtoSoul, ProtoWatch, and ProtoAlarm

## Dedicated device feel

ProtoVice works on regular Android phones.

Some are also running it on small Android devices like PA03 -style handhelds to make it feel more like a dedicated virtual pet device. it also fix beautify on a Moto Razr Front screen and Samsung Flips. 

You do not need a dedicated device to play. It is just an optional way to make it feel more like a real handheld partner device, and to have a way for IOS user to join... 

## Beta status

This is still an active beta.

Some systems are polished. Some are still being balanced.

The goal right now is to test, improve, and keep building toward something that feels alive, fun, and worth checking in on without becoming stressful.

## Current project goal

ProtoVice is meant to feel like:

- a virtual pet

- a tiny adventure device

- a companion app

- a monster-raising toy

- a little world in your pocket

Not a punishment device.

## Install note

This is an Android APK beta, so Android may warn you before installing. Only install if you are comfortable sideloading beta apps.
