Protomon

I wanted to share a fan project I’ve been working on called Protovice.

I love Digivices and virtual pets, but I always wanted one that felt more like a companion and less like a punishment device if I forgot about it for a while. So I started making an Android app inspired by that idea.

Right now it has raising, feeding, healing, training, battles, evolution, different visual modes, a DigiFarm, scanner rewards, cards, achievements, and story stuff.

I’ve also been testing it on small Android devices like PA03 / BF12-style handhelds so it can feel more like an actual dedicated Digivice instead of just another phone app.

It’s still a beta and very much a passion project, but it’s been really fun seeing it slowly become the kind of Digivice I always wanted.

Main idea:

a partner device, not a punishment device.

Just wanted to share what I’ve been building with other Digimon fans.
